Schedule:
7:45 a.m.:
- Departure from our partner hotels
- Arrival at Lake Chiemsee, start of boat trip to Herreninsel. Visit to Herrenchiemsee Palace (Ludwig's “attempt to build Versailles”). Guided tour of the state rooms and gardens (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours)
- Lunch together (Bavarian cuisine)
- Continue to Fraueninsel. Walk through the idyllic monastery village, visit the Benedictine abbey. Opportunity to buy small souvenirs or enjoy coffee and cake
Return journey to Mühldorf
